I love this app. I have it on my computer and on my phone. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

Interesting. I've read about how blue light from devices can cause sleep issues but only my newest Kindle has a setting to combat that. But even then the screen seems brighter than if I had it turned off and just make the background black with the brightness turned down.

Sorry, I don't know how I didn't see this post before.

Yes, the blue light keeps you awake at night. Yeah, it's still going to be brighter because it's backlight, but amber/incandescent light is much easier on the eyes than the blue light typically emitted from devices.
